Biggest fundraising project ever launches – Scaling up for 2020
We are growing! We have reached a moment in time to consider extending and replacing the facilities we have beyond our current site’s borders. To help us do this, we are launching our biggest ever fundraising appeal.
Rescuing 500+ animals per year, and rehoming another 300+ is a logistical challenge. It also requires a complex approach to care. Every animal is unique in its background and the attention and recovery process we create for it is as well.
We have some considerable achievements under our belts as a team. These include supporting apprentices into meaningful careers and producing research with helps influence professionals in the animal industry. We remain one of only two places in the UK used by the RSPCA to train their animal welfare officers in the handling and recovery of exotic animals.
To achieve this we need to raise £500,000. About half will need to be found by the end of 2017.This fundraising target is huge, so we will be working towards establishing numerous new income-generating activities, seeking corporate donations and sponsorships, as well as employing a local fundraising agency in 2016.

Scaling up for 2020
We believe the total target will take 2-3 years to reach, however, we aim to be fully operational with our new facilities by the beginning of the 2020 season.
If you are an individual, the easiest way to help is come and visit, donate spare change or encourage friends and family to visit. Buy a season ticket, sponsor an animal or volunteer – we have lots of roles available. Maybe you have an idea for a fundraising trek or event you could run at your school?
We are urgently seeking support from commercial organisations, whether it is professional support, corporate social responsibility grants, corporate work days or utilization of our facilities for your events.
