These delightful, gentle creatures have proved a great favourite with all our visitors since they arrived in 1995. Our first baby 'Twiglet', was born in 1996 and in 1997 we had a litter of five. They can be seen daily on display in our Beaver pool, swimming with the rest of their family. Some of the babies have been adopted by local Beaver Scout groups. Having been busy all night, the Beavers are not early risers, so the best time to see them is from lunchtime onwards.
